New DI restaurant seeks to reclaim easy life of The Islander

Let’s be honest. We may live on an island, but we don’t always feel as though we are living the “island life.” We have jobs, family responsibilities, chores. While we certainly appreciate the sights, smells, and climate of our coastal proximity, it’s not necessarily vaca every day around here.
The good folks at Holy City Hospitality are looking to inject a little of that fancy free feeling back into our lives, at least at mealtime (and happy hour). They are gearing up for an early 2014 opening of The Islander, a new coastal casual restaurant, in the space that was formerly Queen Anne’s Revenge on Fairchild Street.
