For the traditional folks, Victor Social Club is serving up Burrata Pie with prime rib, caramelized shallots, spinach, asiago, basil and imported baked burrata. Next on the menu is an intriguing Oyster Rockefeller spin that is exactly what southern dreams are made of – featuring braised pork belly, pernod cream, fried and pink peppercorn bearnaise. The final traditional menu item is Tostones Americana with purple sweet potatoes, red curry duck confit, apple relish and Australian feta.
If you’re already grabbing your coat and heading to Victor’s, just wait – there’s more! Recent menu additions include four noteworthy Hemingway inspired dishes that give this new menu a fun twist. The first Hemingway-inspired dish is truly a southerner’s haven – known as “The Old Man and The Sea,” this dish consists of deep fried hot sauce chicken livers, oyster stew and caviar. Next you’ll find a savory dish sure to leave you speechless: “A Moveable Feast!” This dish includes sautéed escargot, bone marrow, tomatoes, leeks and pernod on a house made baguette.
Third on the list is sure to be a fan favorite. The “Sun Also Rises,” is a Japanese inspired dish made of butter poached Maine lobster, ahi tuna, nori, tobiko, spicy mayo and carrot ginger puree. The last, yet certainly not least, Hemingway inspired offering is known as “It’s Awfully Easy to be Hardboiled.” You’ll find three deep fried deviled eggs with bacon jam and truffle aioli.
