An epic Charlestonian dynamic duo is teaming up to present the ultimate dinner and a movie on April 22nd. Drum roll please as we present the partnership between 39 Rue De Jean Charleston and Charleston Music Hall to bring you a traditional Parisian dinner followed by a showing of Casablanca.
The only thing that could make one of our favorite black and white movies even better is a delectable meal at your local French Brasserie beforehand. Get ready to plan the perfect date night, girls night out, or simple night out on the town at only $36 a ticket.
Begin your night at one of the two dinner seatings at either 5:30 or 6:00 pm. Leave the stress at the door when it comes to choosing which decadent meal from 39 Rue De Jean’s menu sounds the best and let the professionals prepare some of their favorite award-winning dishes.
With your $36 ticket, you will receive a movie ticket and a dinner that includes an appetizer made of Harira-lentil, tomato and chickpea soup, an entree of chicken tagine with olive- and tomato-braised thighs, apricot and almond couscous, as well as cilantro. Finish off this mouth-watering meal with lime cake soaked with orange blossom syrup, candied pistachios and honey citrus yogurt.
39 Rue De Jean is also offering a ticket that includes preselected wine pairings for $75. Don’t expect any undisclosed fees, as tax and gratuity are already included. We are certain it’s a meal you won’t soon forget!
After your dinner, you’ll walk right across the street to Charleston Music Hall at 39 John St. and enjoy a showing of Casablanca at 7:30 pm sharp. If this night sounds like a dream, make it a reality by purchasing your ticket here.
Word certainly gets out fast, as all tickets that include dinner and the film are sold out. That said, if you’re still interested in viewing the movie only at Charleston Music Hall, you can still purchase your ticket for $8.
This certainly isn’t the end of the partnership between Charleston Music Hall and 39 Rue De Jean, so be sure to stay tuned for future collaborations between this downtown restaurant and arts venue power duo.
