This year’s Charleston Restaurant Week is here and Vincent Chicco’s is ready to roll out their Italian red carpet for those interested in their new menu for the special 10-day affair. If you’ve never had the chance to try American-Italian cuisine, here’s your chance to get a taste of Vincent Chicco’s staples, as well as some of their new offerings this week.
Charleston Restaurant Week is considered 10 days of heaven for those deeply invested in the Holy City’s hospitality scene. Vincent Chicco’s is offering up three courses for $35 per person, making date night easy on your wallet and heaven on earth for your taste buds.
The first course begins with two Italian classics that feature your choice of caesar salad or Fritto Misto Di Mare with shrimp, calamari, vegetables and lemon aioli. The next course is loaded with robust Italian flavor with Charlestonian twist that includes a choice of Cacciucco e Baccala with tuscan seafood stew, grilled crostini and whipped salt cod or Fettuccine Con Stracotto with braised pork, button mushrooms and burrata.
You can expect to have slowed down a little by the end of your second course, but you aren’t done quite yet. For your final course, you’re given a choice between Citrus Mascarpone Panna Cotta with almond biscotti and raspberry confit or milk chocolate pistachio semifreddo with orange anglaise. Either choice won’t steer you wrong, as both are guaranteed to blow your taste buds away.
