Post and Courier Mentions Executive Chef Shane Whiddon’s Fried Chicken Recipe


Virginia’s On King Executive Chef Shane Whiddon was recently mentioned in an article in the Post and Courier by Hanna Raskin, titled “Can’t tolerate peanut oil? You can still get your fried chicken fix.”  The article featured different takes on fried chicken and helping those with peanut allergies enjoy the southern comfort food favorite.  One of the alternatives to peanut oil that was mentioned in the article was sunflower oil, and Chef Whiddon was said that he “swears by blended vegetable oil.” Come on in to Virginia’s On King and try our delicious Fried Chicken Recipe.
