Charleston Restaurant Week 2020 at Virginia’s on King

It’s here! Charleston Restaurant Week 2020 is in full swing in the Lowcountry. This week is the perfect opportunity to make your way around town and sample local spots with big reputations. Virginia’s on King and other Holy City Hospitality restaurants have prepared exclusive course offerings for this special week in the Holy City.

Here at Virginia’s on King, we’re known for being a taste of the South. Our restaurant week menu is no different. If you’re a Charleston newcomer, this three-course menu is a perfect sampling of some of the Lowcountry’s most iconic flavors. For regular guests, it’s a return back to some of your favorite dishes at Virginia’s on King.

Beginning at 5 PM from January 9th through January 19th, Virginia’s on King is offering a dinner menu of three courses for $35. Each course gives you a choice between two dishes, so your supper can satisfy your appetite.

Begin your meal by warming up with hearty dishes. The first course opens with a choice between a creamy Shrimp Bisque served with Crostini or Collard Dip made with braised collards folded in creamy cheese and spice served with Ritz Crackers.

The second course continues to bring flavorful and filling dishes to the table. Choose between Chicken Confit made with slow-cooked chicken quarters over speckled butter beans and drop dumplings, or Jambalaya with creek shrimp, sausage, and chicken cooked in tomatoes, peppers, and spices blended with Carolina Gold Rice.

It might be tough, but you’re going to want to save some room for dessert! Your third course is between two options. The first, Gentleman Brownies made with Bourbon cream cheese frosting, caramel, and candied pralines. Craving a hometown favorite? Choose the Moonpie made with graham cracker cookie, marshmallow, honey, and vanilla milk.
