Executive Chef Aaron Lemieux Quoted in Post and Courier Article About Fried Chicken

Vincent Chicco’s Executive Chef Aaron Lemieux offered advice on ordering fried chicken at restaurants, in a recent article in the Post and Courier by Hanna Raskin.  The article highlighted an issue with fried chicken at restaurants for those with peanut allergies, as many restaurants use peanut oil in their fryers.  However, Chef Lemieux suggested asking chefs to pan-fry food in canola or olive oil, saying that Chef’s take food allergies seriously and most are very willing to accommodate guests who have them.  Click here to read the full article, which also featured Holy City Hospitality’s, Virginia’s On King and their Executive Chef Shane Whiddon.
