You probably know Historic Rice Mill only as a waterfront venue for weddings and other special occasions. While we do love playing host to celebrations of all kinds, our downtown Charleston venue also opens its doors to other activities from time to time. Our latest feature is the already popular Wellness Wednesday series that we think you will love!
On the first Wednesday of every month, certified Yoga instructor, Sarah J. hosts an hour-long yoga class. New to yoga? Not a problem! Our classes are open to fitness enthusiasts (or enthusiasts in the making) of all ages and skill levels. Whether you are a master of the Peacock Pose or feel most comfortable in Shavasana, you are welcome to join in the fun!
If all of that yoga works up your appetite – we have you covered. After your class, take care of your rumbling stomach by enjoying some healthy snacks from Good Food Catering. In the mood to spice up your Wednesday instead? Make your way to the Historic Rice Mill bar to indulge in our happy hour specials.
According to Jenna Tito, HRM’s lead sales manager, Wellness Wednesday is about encouraging our community members to “come out and do yoga with us as we make new friends, relax, enjoy the sunset over the marina, and get fit together!” We hope you will join us for our next practice!
The next classes are on November 7th, December 5th, and January 2nd. More classes will be added soon! Check-in begins at 5:30 pm and the yoga begins at 5:45 pm. We encourage you to purchase your $10 tickets in advance, as space is limited and is given on a first come, first served basis.
