Charleston Restaurant Week is upon us and we can’t wait to bless our palettes with the divine flavors of Coast Bar and Grill for the next 11 days. For those who aren’t familiar with this time of year, let us give you a taste of exactly what goes on in the Holy City for the next week, besides the abundance of full and satisfied bellies.
Twice a year, restaurants in the Charleston area develop a special menu to treat residents near and far to 11 days of pure foodie bliss at a discounted price. Coast Bar and Grill is participating and offering up 3 courses for just $35 per person from January 7th – January 18th.
Fall in love with seafood all over again with Coast’s first course, which offers your choice of Salt and Pepper Calamari with lemon aioli, Blackened Seafood Chowder with local clams, blackened fish and (of course) bacon, or Coast Shrimp Ceviche served with fresh lime, chile, avocado and traditional corn tortillas.
Up next you will be given the difficult choice between Surf & Turf Grill featuring sirloin, parmesan mashed potatoes and jalapeno bacon wrapped shrimp, Shrimp and Stoneground Grits served with tasso ham gravy and bacon cheese grits, or Crispy Fried Flounder Filet featuring cornmeal crust and seasoned fries.
Remember, it’s a marathon, not a sprint, so plan on saving a little room because up next is dessert. For the third and final course you get a choice of either Dark Chocolate Mousse with fresh strawberries or Vanilla & Mango Panna Cotta.
