JG Curry CSW, General Manager

JG Curry was born and raised in Savannah, GA. He began as a server in the hospitality business at age 18. He soon discovered his love of serving the public. He was transferred to a line cook position after two years as a Server. He was involved in the opening of over 80 new restaurants with most of his experience in the BOH as a Lead Kitchen Trainer. He then went into management and eventually becoming a multi-unit operator in the Northeast. His next stop was a stint operating multi-venue entertainment complexes and nightclubs at various locations around the country. He returned to the south and served as executive chef and general manager in Atlanta, GA for 4 years before returning to his hometown, where he became an outlets manager at The Bohemian Hotel. He then served as Director of Retail Operations for Bon Appetit Management Company, responsible for on campus dining for SCAD students. JG Curry then joined 39 Rue de Jean as General Manager in August of 2014.
