Tristan Whisenant, Private Dining Director for Holy City Hospitality, graduated with honors from Johnson & Wales University with an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Service Management.
Whisenant first joined Holy City Hospitality in 2002 when she began working at 39 Rue de Jean. Two years later she joined Good Food Catering as Sous Chef and was promoted to Chef de Cuisine soon thereafter. Having been a part of Good Food Catering from its inception, the transition in 2006 to General Manager was seamless. Tristan’s passion for executing flawless events led to her promotion to Private Dining Director for Holy City Hospitality, and she oversees all events at The Historic Rice Mill, The Cottages at Charleston Harbor, The Pavilion at Patriot’s Point, Upstairs at 39 Rue de Jean, Upstairs at Virginia’s on King, Upstairs at Vincent Chicco’s, and all other Private Dining events within the Holy City Hospitality collection of venues.
In addition to her experience with Holy City Hospitality, Whisenant has studied and worked abroad; in 2003, she attended a culinary co-op at The Great Southern Hotel in Killarney Ireland, and in 2004, attended a German Wine and Sommelier School in Koblenz Germany.Download PDF
